Fishing: tease the trout…

Fly, game, coarse, predator, traditional, using ground or local bait… the many watercourses that wind through the Ardèche offer the possibility of practicing all types of fishing.

Ardèche has some of the finest fishing grounds in France, with over 1,250 miles of first class rivers, with such outstanding areas as the Loire, The Issarlès lake, the Espezonnette.
It is also possible to go in for fishing “without killing” because ten stretches are officially recognised for regulation as “no-kill” stretches. “Night carp fishing” stretches have been set up along the Rhône. Finally, free “initiation” days, open to all, are offered throughout the department.
